So welcome ROOT-DotA2 to the ROOT Gaming family.
To those of you unfamiliar with ROOT, we are a team that dominated the SC2 scene in the early stages of the game and made a name for our team as well as our players as individuals in the gaming world. We are a team of friends, looking to become a bigger organization and get sponsors in the near future while maintaining our personalities and always trying to be who we are, cause we're really f*cking special.
Our mission has always been to scout for up and coming talent and potential, and the DotA2 squad is no exception. Despite having popular players like Blitz, whose stream has become popular over the last few weeks and former HoN pro JaH, our DotA2 squad is mainly composed of up and coming players who we are confident will grow and become one of the best teams out there.

"I'm incredibly excited to be joining ROOT. Most of our members aren't as well known as we'd like them to be, but we hope to change that. We are a relatively new team, but we’re willing to put in the time and dedication to becoming a top NA team. We decided as a group to join ROOT because we were aware of the weight it carried, and we were extremely pleased with the opportunity we were given. We plan on playing together frequently and bootcamping as much as possible within the coming months. Know that we will do everything we can to uphold the ROOT name and expect to see some good games.
